A Deadly Game

Game Warden Olivia Hawkins is a fierce protector of the animals that inhabit the Jackman, Montana, wilderness she adores. A poaching investigation takes a dangerous turn when she witnesses illegal hunting from a helicopter owned by the prominent Pendleton family. Olivia knows the family all too well, having lost her father to a logging accident on their land. Though the Pendletons own much of small-town Jackman, Olivia is undaunted by the power attached to their name, and she’s willing to expose dark family secrets to stop their illegal activity. Little does she know that the one person who can help her is the last person she can trust. 

Wildlife photographer Bryce Pendleton is back in town—and in the line of fire. Orphaned at a young age and raised by a distant grandfather, Bryce doesn’t expect much of a homecoming upon returning to Jackman and his formidable, estranged family. When he runs into Olivia while being shot at by poachers, Bryce must decide if he’s willing to help her stop the lawbreakers at the risk of incriminating his own kin. Before the pair can get back to civilization, an early winter storm moves in, cutting off their way to safety. Can Olivia and Bryce learn to trust each other in order to survive the blizzard and stop the hunters from closing in on their trail?
